digital photograph 2004 This mountain region is called Yellow Mountain. In Chinese, it's called Huangshan. The mountain region is located in Anhui province. Socially, this province is notoriously known as the birthplace of SARS. The past two years, SARS outbreaks have started in Anhui. It is a poor province, thus it is more Third World. There's a exodus of people that move from here to Shanghai and Beijing, where the jobs are. The majority of Chinese prostitutes in the big cities are all from Anhui. |
